UPDATE: The Haunted Ship event for the night of October 31st, Halloween, has been cancelled due to expected inclement weather - thunder storms and high winds as cold front moves through Southwest Louisiana on Wednesday afternoon and Wednseday evening. Thanks to everyone who came out to this year's Haunted Ship event. Remember, we will still be doing the Kiddie Haunted Ship from 5 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, October 30th!
The Haunted Ship - Lake Charles: The USS ORLECK Naval Museum is pleased to announce that The Haunted Ship - Lake Charles will open its HATCHES to thrillseekers, revelers, and Halloween enthusiasts starting the last weekend in September 2018.
When? The Haunted Ship - Lake Charles will be held on Fridays and Saturdays on the following dates: September 28-29; October 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, 26-27; and Wednesday, October 31st. Gates open at 6:30 PM; Hatches open at 7:30 PM. General Admission is $15; Fast Pass is $25. Closed-toe, non-slip shoes required for guests' comfort and safety. Recommended for age 10 and above.
The KIddies: We have not forgotten our younger Halloween enthusiasts. A Kids' Shipboard Haunted Ship event will be held Tuesday, October 30th, from 5 PM to 7 PM. (Gates open at 4:30 PM.) The children will be treated to a Halloween experience aboard the historic 73-year old Navy destroyer with fun, games, and treats. Advance reservation required: $7 for first child; $5 for each additional child. Space is limited; space available tickets $10 at the door, so reserve today!
